Its down to the wire. Denise and I were able to find really cheep tickets out of Abilene so we will be taking off from here instead of driving to Dallas and best of all we will fly into Abilene instead of having to drive home after our trip and surely fighting jet lag.
Picture this with me. Denise and I (By the way this is Gynnalyn) arriving at Abilene Municiple Airport in all its glory and sophistication. We walk up to the counter and when asked "Your final destination, ma'am?" With a little twinkle in our eyes and smile creeping up on our face. "Moscow, Russia" Bet the ticket person in Abilene, TX doesn't check luggage to Moscow everyday. It kinda makes me think.
Whats your final destination? Mine is heaven but all these "airports" and "layovers" in the middle have a tendancy to overwhelm me and I get caught up in the circumstances of this cruddy terminal and forget my final destination is heaven. Or I get intoxicated by the gloamour of this or that situation. You wouldn't put a lot of effort into making your home in the chairs in the terminal. It doesn't make any since to decorate your surroundings and try to impress your friends knowing your only there for a little while. Although it seems sometimes intolerable or fantastic its only for a little while and you'll be on your way soon to your final destination.
